Online Safety
Online safety is embedded within all learning across the school. Pupils are reminded of the rules for using ICT and the internet every time any device is used in school. They are also taught in discrete sessions during computing lessons and circle time. The Headteacher/online safety co-ordinator leads a whole school assembly once per half term and class assemblies also focus on online safety once per half term. Reminders about online safety are posted on each newsletter with websites and links to support parents and carers.

Safer Internet Day
We reinforce and apply our Online Safety Rules throughout the year but when it is Safer Internet Day we spend the week focusing on this specifically. During the week the children will complete activities linked to online safety. This years theme is all about starting conversations with children and ensuring they know how to ask for help. We will be playing games, sharing stories and re-capping our online safety rules. Here is a link to some of the resources we will be using in school and you might also like to use at home.
