Equality Statement and Objectives

Our school, it's staff and governors, are committed to eliminating unlawful and unfair discrimination and values the differences that a diverse community brings.  We do everything possible to ensure everyone feels valued and has the access to every opportunity.  How we achieve this can be seen in our Equality Policy below and includes our school Accessibility Plan for this academic year.

Equality Objectives

  • To develop knowledge and attitudes to enable pupils to value and celebrate diversity and build an understanding and respect for different cultures
  • To support and encourage SEND pupils to ensure they are as fully able as possible to participate in all aspects of school life

  • Communicate with pupils and parents in clear easily understood formats ensuring they feel supported through inclusion in all aspects of school life
